uge as Campus Minister, but is being promoted to V-P of Mission Integration. Have been in the convent for 48 years, visited 15 countries, lived in Haiti as a missionary and Paris, France on our international leadership team. Happy to be back in Louisiana since 2000.

Was in Buffalo, New York last weekend for the Annual Franciscan Conference.  About 250 Franciscan Sisters and Brothers.  Wonderful gathering filled with inspirational talks and fellowship.  Haven't posted in a while due to
Been at our place on False River.  This is what 20,000 honey bees look like once the plywood is removed. They swarmed on Thursday and had already made comb.  Thank God found Troy Bozeman to come and safely removed them and
Enjoying my 10 week old great-nephew, Edwin James Hebert,III !  "E.J." is #26 procreated by my 9 nieces and nephews.
The wax comb 20,000 bees produced in 36 hours!  There was already evidence they were ready to start many more.  The yellowish color was pollen they had collected.  Absolutely amazing.
Just finished eating TJ Ribs and bar-be-que with the Sisters. Happy 4th y'all!!

Celebrated first Mass and ribbon cutting this morning. The 80 freshmen will start classes Monday.   God be praised!!

Many of you have asked for news of our Haiti mission.  The hurricane is hitting directly in area.  This a picture of the Caribbean from our convent. No news from our Sisters yet due to weather. Prayers appreciated.
